The Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC), University of Delhi, provides internship opportunities that allow learners to gain practical experience while contributing to the Centre's academic, technological, media and operational activities.

Interns work alongside the OLDC team and gain exposure to real-world tasks, professional workflows and collaborative working environments. These opportunities enable students to apply their existing skills, develop new competencies and understand how an educational organisation operates.

Our internship opportunities span areas including Technology, Educational Technology & Media (ETM), Content and Academic Support, Digital Learning and other Centre activities, depending on the requirements of the Centre.

Track 01 • Operations & Technology

1. Technical Internship

Technology Supporting Open Learning

Technical interns contribute to the technology-enabled operations of OLDC. They support digital processes and assist teams in carrying out academic and administrative activities efficiently.

Key Areas of Involvement:
Admissions Support

Assist with digital admission-related activities, applicant queries, application processing and other technology-enabled admission tasks.

Examination Support

Provide technical and operational assistance for examination-related processes and help ensure that digital workflows are carried out smoothly.

Digital Operations

Assist with maintaining records, organising digital information and using appropriate digital tools for day-to-day operations.

Event & Activity Support

Support the technical and operational requirements of workshops, events, meetings and other activities organised by OLDC.

Applicant & Learner Assistance

Help users navigate digital processes and provide basic guidance where required.

Technology-Based Problem Solving

Assist the team in identifying and addressing routine technical or digital workflow issues.

Track 02 • Media & Production

2. Educational Technology Media Lab Internship

Create. Edit. Communicate.

Interns working with the Educational Technology & Media (ETM) Lab contribute to the development of audio-visual learning resources at OLDC.

The internship provides practical exposure to video production, photography, videography, audio recording and video editing, while allowing interns to contribute to educational content designed for learners.

Key Areas of Involvement:
Video Production

Assist in recording lectures, educational sessions, interviews, discussions and other learning content.

Photography & Videography

Support photography and video coverage of academic activities, events, workshops and other Centre initiatives.

Video Editing

Assist in editing recorded material to create clear, structured and engaging educational videos.

Audio & Audiobook Production

Support the recording and preparation of audio learning resources and audiobooks.

Graphics & Multimedia

Assist in incorporating suitable graphics, titles, transitions, images and other multimedia elements into educational content.

Educational Content Development

Work with the ETM Lab team to transform academic material and recorded sessions into learner-friendly digital resources.

Digital Publishing Support

Assist in preparing audio-visual resources for digital platforms and learning initiatives.

What You Gain

The ETM Lab internship offers hands-on exposure to the process of developing professional educational media, from recording and production to editing and digital presentation. Interns can understand how technology and media are used to make educational content clearer, more engaging and accessible to learners.

3. Content & Academic Support Internship

Research. Create. Communicate.

Interns supporting content and academic activities can gain experience in developing and organising educational and informational material.

Depending on Centre requirements, interns may contribute to:

  • Proofreading and editing
  • Organising academic resources

4. Digital Learning & Communication Internship
