Swami Vivekanand Knowledge and Information Resource Library

The Swami Vivekanand Knowledge and Information Resource Library, located within the Campus of Open Learning at the ARC Building, Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC), University of Delhi, is a modern and resource-rich academic information centre dedicated to supporting learners, researchers and academic users.

As a fully automated and highly resourceful information centre specialising in distance education, the library provides comprehensive academic support to users pursuing flexible learning pathways. It serves as a dynamic hub where technology, innovation and knowledge come together to support the evolving needs of the distance and open learning community.

Vision

To democratise access to education and knowledge for students and learners who may not be part of the traditional, campus-based learning system.

To bridge the gap between quality education and geographical, financial or societal constraints that often hold back individuals from pursuing higher studies. Through accessible resources and technology-enabled services, the library aims to create an inclusive learning environment for all.
