Institutional Foundation & Vision
Institutional Foundation
The Open Learning Development Centre (OLDC) focuses on enhancing learning through innovative methods, technology-aided resources and skill development opportunities.
OLDC provides flexible learning opportunities that support learners in developing practical knowledge and relevant skills. Its approach focuses on making learning accessible and relevant to the needs and interests of learners.
The Centre for Innovative Skill-Based Courses (CISBC) and the Centre for Indian and Foreign Languages (CIFL) support OLDC's focus on skill-based and language learning. CISBC supports skill-based, job-ready courses, while CIFL supports Indian and foreign language learning through language courses. The proposal for establishing CISBC under the existing OLDC was approved by the Executive Council on 25 March 2022.

Educational Technology Media (ETM) Lab
Development of video lectures, audiobooks and digital learning resources.
PRAGYAN LMS
A Learning Management System that enables learners to access courses, submit assessments and track progress.
COL Radio
An audio-based learning platform offering academic and non-academic content for learners.
Focus on Skill and Language Learning
Skill-based and language learning form an important part of OLDC's initiatives. These courses provide learners with practical, hands-on experiences that are relevant to their learning and professional needs.
