About the Course
The Certificate Course in Introduction to Artificial Intelligence is a six-week course for students who have completed Grade 12 and above — any discipline, any background. It requires no coding, no prior knowledge of technology, and no mathematics beyond everyday reasoning.
The course follows a single pedagogical spine: Intelligence → Learning → Capabilities → Communication → Responsibility → The Future. Each module builds on the last. Students do not simply read about AI — they encounter it, question it, and evaluate it.

Sessions & Duration
- Sessions per Week: 2 sessions — one activity-based session and one lab or demonstration session.
- Session Duration: 90–120 minutes per session.

What the AI Audit Capstone Requires
Each student selects one AI-powered tool they use in daily life — such as a social media feed, a navigation app, a chatbot, or a keyboard autocorrect — and produces a structured 1-page audit covering:
- What the tool does and what type of AI powers it.
- What data it likely trains on and whose experience may be underrepresented.
- One moment it worked well and one where it failed — both reproduced live during the session.
- One recommendation: what should change, and who is responsible?
Assessment Criteria: The capstone will be assessed on the quality of reasoning, not on technical accuracy or the complexity of the tool.
Certification Eligibility
There is no end examination. Assessment is continuous and evidence-based. The work students do in class is the work they are assessed on — there is no separation between learning and evaluation.
Students who meet the requirements below will receive a Certificate of Completion issued by the Centre for Innovative Skill Based Courses, OLDC, CDOE, Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi.

Eligibility: Open to all, including students of University of Delhi (DU). Applicants must have passed Class 12th from any recognised Board.
