Course Structure

The course is divided into the following components:

  1. Module 1: Chemistry Lab Maintenance and Handling (16 Hours)
  2. Module 2: Laboratory Techniques in Biological Sciences (16 Hours)
  3. Module 3: Physics Lab Training (16 Hours)
  4. Module 4: Basic Computer Skills (16 Hours)

Mandatory Internship (16 Hours)

After successful completion of all four modules, all students are required to undergo a Mandatory Internship of 16 Hours, covering practical exposure across the areas studied in the course.

• Chemistry Lab handling and safety practices
• Biological laboratory techniques and sample handling
• Physics lab instruments and experiment assistance
• Basic documentation and computer-based lab work

Internship Objectives

• To provide real-time laboratory exposure
• To develop practical working skills in lab environments
• To understand workflow and responsibilities of a lab technician
• To enhance confidence in handling lab equipment and processes

Internship Requirements

• Active participation in assigned lab activities
• Maintenance of internship log/record
• Submission of brief internship report
• Performance evaluation by supervisor
