About the Course
Computer networking classes combine lectures and hands-on practice to provide skills in computer network system configuration. Courses may include discussions, lectures and projects that deal with basic networking principles and current developments in the field. Computer networking courses train students to connect local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN) and wireless versions of both types. They also learn to connect hardware devices and set up Internet access. These skills can apply to a variety of careers. According to the skills learned in networking classes are valuable to network engineers, programmers and consultants. Classes may be geared toward Unix or Windows systems and may lead toward certification in the field.

Assessment Scheme for Certification
The following evaluation criteria will be applied to assess student performance in the course. The total marks allotted are 100, distributed across three key components:
A) Attendance – 40 Marks

B) Assignments – 20 Marks (A minimum score of 8 marks is required to qualify for this section.)
- Assignment 1: 10 Marks
- Assignment 2: 10 Marks
D) Final Test (MCQ) – 40 Marks (A minimum score of 17 marks is required to qualify for this section)
A multiple-choice examination to assess theoretical understanding of the course content.
Evaluation will be based on hands-on proficiency and application of course concepts.
Total: 100 Marks (minimum passings marks are 35 to qualify overall.)
Certification Eligibility
Candidates will be eligible to receive the course certificate only upon fulfilling the minimum attendance criteria and completing all assessment components.
