About the Course
This course focuses on giving learners the fundamental information and abilities needed for desktop publishing and graphic design. Imparting a complete understanding of desktop publishing tools, typography, design concepts, and image editing skills is the main aim of course. Learners learn how to make visually appealing designs that work for print and digital media platforms through practical experience. The course's objectives are to foster creativity, industry-standard software skills, and a solid understanding of design aesthetics, all of which will enable learners to pursue professions or additional education in graphic design. Learning how to effectively combine text and visuals for use in posters, signage, brochures, newsletters, logos, and other visual communication materials is one of the core learning modules. Learners complete the program with the abilities and knowledge needed to succeed in the graphic design industry and make significant contributions.

Assessment Scheme for Certification
The following evaluation criteria will be applied to assess student performance in the course. The total marks allotted are 100, distributed across four key components:
A) Attendance – 40 Marks

Note: Students must meet the minimum attendance requirement (above 50%) to be eligible for certification.
B) Assignments – 30 Marks (A minimum score of 12 marks is required to qualify for this section.)
- Assignment 1: 15 Marks (A minimum score of 6 marks is required to qualify for this section)
- Assignment 2: 15 Marks (A minimum score of 6 marks is required to qualify for this section)
- C) Final Presentation – 10 Marks (A minimum score of 5 marks is required to qualify for this section)
Evaluation will be based on hands-on proficiency and application of course concepts.
D) Final Test (MCQ) – 20 Marks (A minimum score of 8 marks is required to qualify for this section)
A multiple-choice examination to assess theoretical understanding of the course content.
Total: 100 Marks (minimum passings marks are 35 to qualify overall.)
Certification Eligibility
Candidates will be eligible to receive the course certificate only upon fulfilling the minimum attendance criteria and completing all assessment components.
