COURSE OUTCOMES
Upon successful completion of the course, learners will be able to:
- Understand the motivations, scope, and professional requirements of Counselling.
- Differentiate between Counselling, guidance, psychotherapy, and interviewing.
- Understand various levels of Counselling and certification requirements.
- Demonstrate essential Counselling skills including empathy, active listening, communication, and non-judgmental behaviour.
- Apply behavioural, psychoanalytic, person-cantered, cognitive-behavioural, solution-focused, and integrative Counselling approaches.
- Understand ethical principles and professional responsibilities in Counselling practice.
- Conduct case assessments and develop Counselling intervention plans.
- Apply Counselling skills in specialized areas such as career Counselling, family Counselling, school Counselling, and mental health Counselling.
- Develop a personal Counselling style based on professional competencies and individual strengths.

Attendance Requirement
- Please note that attendance is compulsory for obtaining the certificate of this course.
- A minimum of 50% attendance is mandatory to be eligible for assessment and certification. Students with attendance below 50% will not be awarded the certificate, irrespective of their performance in assignments and viva examinations.

Important Note
- Attendance is an essential component of the assessment process.
- Students must maintain at least 50% attendance to qualify for final assessment and certification.
- Learners securing less than 50% attendance shall be deemed ineligible for certification, regardless of their scores in assignments, viva, or other evaluation components.
- Regular participation in classes is strongly encouraged to ensure successful completion of the course.
10+2 with Psychology or Pursuing/completed any Undergraduate Students.
- Open to all, including University of Delhi students, with a 10+2 with Psychology or Pursuing/completed any Undergraduate Students.
